Environmental Projects
The "Lake Simcoe Fund" helps to support environmental projects throughout the Lake Simcoe watershed that will have an immediate impact on the water quality of the lake. Projects include such things as naturalization of watercourses by planting buffer strips along the shores. Streambank erosion control projects, agricultural initiatives such as restricting livestock's access to streams. Restoration of faulty septic systems and the Holland Marsh Water Quality Improvement Project is also part of the Lake Simcoe Fund Campaign.

Reforestation
Through the planting of native trees and shrubs in environmentally sensitive areas throughout the watershed the "Greening Our Greenspace" Campaign helps in the purchase of these trees and shrubs. Each year over 20,000 trees and shrubs are planted to help ensure a healthy and natural habitat for the flora and fauna.
