How You Can Help Reduce Phosphorus Inputs to Lake Simcoe

Many of the activities that you participate in around your home affect the water quality of Lake Simcoe, even if you live a considerable distance from the lake. The waste that is dumped down the drain and products suspended in water running off of your lawn, for example, can ultimately reach streams that flow into Lake Simcoe.

The Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority has prepared a number of How To Tips that can help you to reduce the impacts on water quality on Lake Simcoe and it's tributaries. If you have a fast connection, these tips are available as How-To Video Clips. If you have a slower connection or wish to see the text, these tips are presented in the following sections.
